French toast is an all time family favourite so definitely give this healthier Paleo variation a go! 😋 👍
2 Tbsp coconut milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
4 sliced of Almond & Kumara Paleo Bread
1-2 tsp coconut oil
1 banana - to serve
1 Tbsp desiccated coconut - to serve
2 tsp maple syrup - to serve
- In a bowl whisk the egg, coconut milk, cinnamon, vanilla and sea salt.
- Heat a large pan on medium heat with a teaspoon of coconut oil.
- Dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture, lift it out and let excess egg drip off.
- Fry the french toast on each side until golden brown.
- Serve with sliced banana, desiccated coconut and maple syrup as an option.
