Paleo French Toast

French toast is an all time family favourite so definitely give this healthier Paleo variation a go! 😋 👍



1 egg
2 Tbsp coconut milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
4 sliced of Almond & Kumara Paleo Bread
1-2 tsp coconut oil


1 banana - to serve
1 Tbsp desiccated coconut - to serve
2 tsp maple syrup - to serve


  1. In a bowl whisk the egg, coconut milk, cinnamon, vanilla and sea salt.
  2. Heat a large pan on medium heat with a teaspoon of coconut oil.
  3. Dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture, lift it out and let excess egg drip off.
  4. Fry the french toast on each side until golden brown.
  5. Serve with sliced banana, desiccated coconut and maple syrup as an option.
